Return to Vietnam, Revives Memories

The September issue of V.F.W. Magazine has a story titled "Return to Vietnam, Revives Memories." The story tells the story of a group of Vietnam Veterans who returned to places like Phu Bai. Yes gentlemen, Phu Bai is alright! One of the veterans returning to Vietnam was Robert Greene, VFW Assistant Quartermaster General. But his claim to fame is he served with B Company, 3rd Bn., 506th Infantry, 101st Airborne Division. Make sure you take a look at the article.

Welcome Home Vietnam Vets

This past Sunday Ft. Campbell welcomed home Vietnam Veterans from all services. Former Currahee, Major Patick Seiber said he hoped other units and posts would follow the lead of the 101st Airborne and have similar events.

Currahee Killed in Auto Accident

Former SPC Matthew Zygmunt, who served with C Co 2nd PLT 1-506th from 2005-2008, was killed August 3, 2009 in a car crash in Lebanon Ky. The funeral announcements will be made soon. All we know currently know is that the funeral will be held in Wisconsin sometime this week. This notice is posted to provide quick information out to those who knew Ziggy who would like to attend the services. News Article
